I am a book and editorial illustrator working in pen & ink, watercolor, gouache, Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, and porcelain lithophanes. My illustration path began unexpectedly in graduate school while studying Ceramics at the University of Montana—I started sketching research papers for the Anthropology and Wildlife departments.  Returning to Boston, I became the staff illustrator for the New England Aquarium and went on to collaborate with art directors and designers on non-fiction children’s books, textbooks, gardening & cookbooks, and editorial illustrations for publications including The New York Times, NY Daily News, and The Boston Globe.
