My artistic creations are like instruments in an orchestra. Each has its own voice, requiring different skills to bring it to life. Over the years, I have explored many forms—drawings, book and editorial illustrations, mixed-media works, porcelain lithophanes, bas-relief tiles, sculptures of people dear to me, operatic scenes, dinnerware, and more. But when the conductor says, “All together now,” and gives the downbeat, the listener hears the harmony and recognizes the composer. In my life as an artist, all of these diverse creations come together to reveal the unified themes of my work—the loves of my life: family, children, music, and the beauty of nature.
